This book is geared for your little ones ages 5 through 10, but all ages who don't have a lot of experience with art could use it, including adults. Basic shapes, early elementary vocabulary and numbers, and beginning sounds are interspersed with appreciation of master works of art. With each letter of the alphabet is a different art concept and hands on project. An example would be "B" is for ball. Can you draw a ball? A pattern is a repeated design. Can you put a yellow, orange and red pattern on the ball? Red, yellow and orange are hot colors. "G" is for grape. Students draw grapes and put purple grapes on a yellow background. Purple and yellow are complementary colors. Grades Pre-K-8.
